The Death Of A Child

05:12 Apr 30 2005
Times Read: 676

Once upon a time in a land far away, there she sits. A lonely little girl dressed in her finest dress. She clutches to her young bosom a dolly who’s made up just right. Gazing at the crowd who stand all around. She knows not but a few familiar faces. In her young life she’s known only those closest. As the people stand huddled together whispering in the slow silence of a tune played softly in the air. Her eyes drift from face upon face looking for only one, the one closest to her heart. They descend upon the group standing at the far end of the room. Two men she knows extremely well. A smile begins to form upon her face as she climbs down from the chair she sits in. Dolly in hand she begins to cross the room. In the corners of her eyes she sees the people turn towards her and slowly they quiet. The child, she steps forward and as she gets closer she begins to see that the two men lean into one another as if to support the other. She notices the wetness that comes from their eyes to roll down their cheeks. She stops forward movement, not sure what to do. She’s never before seen a drop shed from their eyes. Always strong and dominant, were these two men. One stepped forward and held out his hand as if to say all was ok. Forward she steps and holds out her hand, as he kneels at her side and takes her to his chest. She feels his body tremble and shake as he holds her to him, and lets out a sob. Leaning back he wipes his eyes and smiles at her softly and whispers “It’s ok, I’ll take you up front.” Sadness washes over her from the silence that hangs in the room. Confused she is lost and doesn’t understand. He stands again and takes her hand within his, and leads her to the coffin a few feet from where they stood. She looks at the woman, lying so peaceful, as if asleep, and the girl doesn’t understand what she see’s or feels. Days pass and she wonders why? Where is the woman, why does she still sleep. She begs and pleads for her to wake in her mind, why does she still sleep? She promises to be good, if only she’d wake. The day came where she finally understood. The child’s head hurt badly as she prayed and she puked until slowly she drifted into a slumber so deep. She awoke from a dream and now she understood. The woman she saw lying asleep had come to hold her one last time. The child you see, well you know that it’s me, and this was my story of how I came to be, the woman before you.

Peace

11:09 Apr 27 2005
Times Read: 698

The iridescent glow of one candle lights up my room

I close my eyes and images appear as my mind travels

It’s a vast waste land of a long and lonely road

The images of a fantasy within my mind, lost and lonely and broken

Or of dreams once lived long ago through the eyes of a child a young girl

She’s innocent of all her musings in the silliness she once lived

Pictures of a future yet to be seen to be lived and to be experienced

As these images race through my mind

I feel loss, loneliness, despair, happiness, joy, giddiness

But never do I feel the one feeling I’ve never felt, what I’ve yet to achieve

I skirt about my mind searching, seeing, seeking, yet never finding a time

The one thing that brings heart and mind together as one

Like oil and water images and feelings flow

As oil floats on water does to my emotions above the images

Never do the two mix or mingle even when stirred together and broken apart

The dew drops of oil only rise again to the surface to bundle together

The vast array of my daily emotions

A facade put forth to hide what truly lies within

The thing I seek most eludes me all my life yet

Will it always be within site, a step out of reach

Will one day through all the suffering

The oil and water mix to become one heart one mind one body

The Enigma That Is My Muse

07:29 Apr 22 2005
Times Read: 711

The stimulation behind my words

the mystery of my thoughts

The name without a face

Of power, of words filled with lust

Tall or short, chubby or thin

Eyes of green, blue, or even brown

To see your sculpture upon my breast

Your words reverberate through my days and nights

The images kept alive with me to haunt my dreams

I write them on paper for all to see

The beauty of lust, sexual fantasy

Turning them into dreams and images for others to see

Words that are used, or even abused

The perplexity of emotions that lie within me

Cannot be taken away just in merely seeing your face

It’s the chase and the thrill that has me enthralled.

Eyes Of Emerald

02:52 Apr 20 2005
Times Read: 753

You are a beauty to behold

Locked deep inside

A child in the guise of a mans body

A temple made of crumbled and broken stone

A wisp of wind could tumble your walls

The ache that lies within of loves long passed

Yet still fresh as the blood that flows red from the gashes

Emeralds once bright in the sun light

Now fade like a candle blown out in the breeze

Hands of steel that create pieces of anger, love, of magic

And a mind once pure now lies broken, corrupt, and crumbled

It's the insanity that keeps the temple together

And the insanity that slowly blows the dust aside

Will the cracked and faded stone revel the boy

That once was, but will never be again

Or will the dust settle and in it's place

Stand a man that's weathered the storm?
